Meet Mikayla
Hi! I am Mikayla Pentecost, owner and sole operator of Mikayla Pentecost photography. I am an east coast native who fell in love with the dry warmth and magnificent sunsets of California, and thus transplanted herself in the West. I derive my passion for photography, and for capturing cherished family moments, from the joy and devotion I feel towards my own family. I am a wife to a US Navy veteran, a proud mama of two, a coffee and tea lover (why do we always have to choose between the two?!), and an amateur Spartan Race runner. Additionally, when I’m not taking pictures, I am moonlighting as a non-profit attorney who advocates for local homeless and low-income veteran populations. I also love to dance, although my family and friends will probably tell you it is not my greatest strength.
